multigrain beers
In the production of multigrain beers, not only the usual brewing grains barley or wheat are added in malted form, but also other malts from emmer, spelt, oats, rye, buckwheat, millet, sorghum, rice or corn, which give the beer a special flavor. Malting these atypical grains is difficult and can only be done by hand in small quantities. In principle, all basic beer styles can be brewed with alternative cereals.
