Reichenbacher®

Munich, that is the Hofbräuhaus, the Oktoberfest, the Marienplatz, the Feldherrnhalle, the Frauenkirche, the English Garden and beer! Bavaria is linked to its culinary tradition like no other federal state. Beer is an integral part of this tradition and the Bavarians' favorite drink. No wonder, Bavarian beer is so tasty that it is enjoyed far beyond the borders of Bavaria and Germany.

Beer city Munich

When you think of Munich, countless sights and attractions immediately come to mind. In addition to the annual Oktoberfest, which is the undisputed highlight of Munich's festival year, the Bavarian capital also has the Christmas market, a variety of cultural sites worth seeing and a culinary landscape that is second to none. One thing is unimaginable from the culinary tradition of Munich and Bavaria: beer has been an important part of Bavarian culture for centuries and is considered so much more than just a luxury food. Beer is a philosophy of life and is taken seriously in Bavaria, which can be seen, for example, in the beer mug safes in the Munich Hofbräuhaus. Traditionally, regular guests have been able to store their very own beer mugs here for centuries so that they can drink the good beer from their own mug.

So if you're going to throw a beer into this market, it has to be an excellent one.

The team at Münchner Bierothek® consists of solid professionals, so it's no surprise that their house beer Münchner Dunkel is a real hit. The traditional bottom-fermented beer is a mild beer specialty based on the Munich brewing style and has its roots in the 18th century.

Old but gold!

Munich in a glass

The Munich Dark from Reichenbacher presents itself in a deep amber tone with ruby red reflections. A beige head of foam sits atop the beer and is supported by a sparkling carbon dioxide. The beer's aroma impresses with bitter-sweet aromas of dark roasted malt, sugary molasses and a hint of chocolate. A nice fruity note of dried fruit is added and puts you in a good mood at the first sip. This one reveals a medium body and a whole lot of flavor. On the tongue, dark roasted malt, cocoa, chocolate roses and a hint of spice combine to create a wonderful mixture. The finish is dry and nicely bitter.

Well, get it!
