Siren Craft Brew

Sirens are creatures from Greek mythology that are usually depicted in various legends and stories as a hybrid of a woman and a bird or fish. According to legend, the sirens sit on rocks by the sea and attract sailors with their beguiling song. The sailors forget all reason in the face of the heavenly sounds, steer their ships into rocky, shallow waters and fall victim to the sirens. It is not known whether the legendary characters ate the boatmen or simply attracted them for their entertainment, but it is clear that it is best to avoid the beguiling singers. The team at Siren Craft Brew from Berkshire, England, still feels drawn to the sirens.

Siren song of hops and malt

The reason for Siren's fascination with sirens is the sophistication with which the mermaid-like creatures lured their victims. They did not blindly rely on their beauty or create traps, but rather weaved complex melodies of breathtaking appeal. The brewery team saw parallels in the composition of a song and the creation of a brewing piece and therefore decided on this name. However, their works do not plunge people into ruin, but rather lure them with heavenly pleasures. It all started in 2013: With the goal of providing as many beer lovers as possible with exciting, flavorful and modern delicacies, founder Darron Anley found a team of motivated people and opened the brewery. Community was an integral part of his concept from the beginning. That same year, he launched the International Rainbow Project: As part of this ongoing campaign, breweries around the world are linked together to brew beer together. This was later followed by Project Barista, which brings together experts from the coffee business with brewers to combine their expertise and their drinks. Few other breweries have understood the essence of the craft beer movement as well as Darron and are as committed to implementing it.

Here we brew whatever you're thirsty for

The focus of Siren Craft Brew's daily work is, of course, beer. The brewery has an ever-changing and ever-growing range of innovative, flavorful and modern beers. A large part of the selection was created in collaboration with other breweries, including the Revelry Red Lemonade Sour , which was brewed together with the Rye River Brewing Company from Ireland and is one of our favorites from Siren. The greatest motivation for the work and its commitment is the beer itself: the brewers only brew brews that they feel like making - and what better way to reward yourself for a hard day's work than with a glass of home-brewed beer?
