INFORMATION ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are an officially registered online retailer for beer in several European countries.

That's why there are no legal problems when ordering beer through our online store. This is not only an advantage for us, but also for our customers. Compared to other online retailers who are not officially registered, our products do not get stuck in customs and there are no other legal problems for our customers. If you order beer from an unregistered online store, there is a high risk that you will not receive your package for legal reasons.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Our beers are shipped in plain brown and shatter-proof shipping boxes.

To seal, we use ecological parcel tape with our Bierothek® logo.

SHIPPING LOCATIONS

Our boxes are divided according to shipping locations. Each bottle is assigned a shipping location - as is each can with a content greater than 0.33L. All cans with a content of 0.33L or less are marked with half a shipping location, as these can be stacked on top of other smaller products in our packages.

(Example: If you order 48 cans of beer, each with a content of 0.33L, we will send you a package of 24, with 2 cans stacked on top of each other, so you only have to pay shipping costs once!)

(Example: If you order 72 bottles of beer with a content of 0.5L, you will receive 3x24 packages from us, which means three times the shipping costs.

For each package with 24 shipping locations we charge international shipping costs of:

Netherlands: 8,90€

Belgium: 11,90€

Austria: 12,90€

Sweden: 14,90€

Finland: 17,90€

Italy: 17,90€

France: 19,90€

Spain: 17,90€

Denmark: 16,90€


SHIPPING COUNTRIES

We currently ship internationally to the following countries:

TRANSPORT SERVICE PROVIDER

Our international packages are picked in our refrigerated central warehouse near Bamberg, picked up there by DHL International and sent to you.

DELIVERY TIME

The delivery time for our packages, which are sent with DHL International, is usually 3-7 working days.

SHIPMENT TRACKING

We send your contact details including your email address to DHL International so that you receive an email from the transport service provider with your tracking number. This way you can track your package quickly and easily.

EXCLUDED ARTICLES/GROUPS

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship all items from our Bierothek® range internationally.

The following items/groups are excluded from international shipping:

  • spirits
  • Events
  • Marketplace items
  • Subscriptions

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Please note the country-specific age restrictions for purchasing beer online.

If the age is not entered correctly in the shopping cart, we reserve the right to cancel the order after the purchase has been completed.

Sweden: At least 20 years old

Austria: At least 18 years old

OTHER BOOKABLE ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

We are currently unable to offer you our optional additional options for international deliveries.

The following options are unfortunately only available for deliveries within Germany:

  • Neutral shipping
  • Gift service
  • Refrigerated shipping
  • Handwritten greeting card
  • No neighborhood delivery
  • Desired location

PRICE CHANGES (item price/ sales tax/ consumption tax)

If you have initially selected Germany as the standard delivery country in our Bierothek® online shop, you will be shown different prices compared to the international delivery countries.

The reason for this is additional tax costs, which we add to the item prices - but which we disclose to you transparently directly in the shopping cart.
