As part of its growth course, the Bierothek® is expanding its management. Maximilian Böhm becomes commercial director and thus complements the management team with founder Christian Klemenz and authorized signatory Stefan Kafara. In addition to national and international end customer business, the Bamberg beer specialty retailer is also growing dynamically in the B2B sector.
As a growing beer specialty retailer, Bierothek® is setting its course for the future: in January 2024, business economist Maximilian Böhm will be appointed commercial managing director. The management-experienced banker already knows Bamberg from his time as a student. He studied European Business Studies with a focus on finance at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg. After completing his master's degree and working in management consulting and the automotive industry, he took on management responsibility at a medical technology start-up in Fürth.
“I am looking forward to being part of the Bierothek® in the future and being actively involved in its further development. I have always followed the history of this company and am a big beer fan myself. Of course, I’m also looking forward to returning to Bamberg. I have a lot of good memories of my time studying here,” explains Maximilian Böhm at the start of his new job.
Bierothek® founder Christian Klemenz adds: “With Maximilian Böhm, we are expanding our management team to include an experienced financial expert. Maximilian will help us establish even more structure in our growing organization. In addition, this step will give me more freedom personally so that I can focus intensively on the further development of the company as well as marketing and sales topics.”
