Belgian beer is a specialty that is becoming more and more popular in the rest of the world. Our neighboring country has a wide variety of different styles to offer: from juicy, crispy-sour fruit beer to feather-light Gueuze, strong Dubbel, Tripel and Quadrupel to powerful and spicy festival beers, you will find everything there. There are some typical ingredients in the spectrum, such as rock candy, which gives the beer a caramel sweetness and boosts the alcohol content. Orange peel and herbs are also popular additions that brewers like to use far beyond the Bavarian Purity Law. If Belgian beer isn't part of your repertoire yet, you should definitely give it a try!

However, there is something to keep in mind when tasting. On the one hand, beer from Belgium is often drunk a little warmer. This is especially true for stronger brews. Its full aroma unfolds if you take it out of the fridge a few minutes before opening and let it acclimate. In addition, the beer tastes best when you drink it from a bulbous goblet. For example, we use the long-stemmed glass from the Spencer brewery for this purpose. Your goblet leaves enough room for the beer to spread out and is also comfortable to hold.

Also, because the brewery will cease operations in 2022, the glass has potential to become a collector's item!
