"Beat The Expert" - the Bierothek® Nuremberg beer game evening
IMPORTANT: The participation fee includes the tasting of at least eight beers from the range, snacks typical for game nights and of course the unique opportunity to take part in this unique beer game evening!
Similar to well-known TV game shows, every participant has the chance to compete against our expert and secure the coveted title of Bierothek Nuremberg Beer Expert - the next evening you then have the opportunity to compete as an expert yourself!
The aim is to score more points in ten rounds. The games all revolve around the topic of beer, but can also be theoretical questions or games of skill. Anything that has to do with the topic of beer can be relevant! So "Beat The Expert"!
In the entire year 2023, Christian remained undefeated in five evenings and so he goes into 2024 as an expert. In total, he only lost an incredible 14 out of 46 games!

1) How does the evening go?
- Qualifying round
In a total of three qualifying rounds, up to 8 participants have the chance to qualify for the final round. The best will then be in the final! The qualifying games are randomly determined by the game leader and can be of a completely different nature!
Of course, it is not a must to qualify for the final round - it is also possible to simply participate as a spectator in the evening!
- Final round
In a total of 10 rounds, increasing points are awarded (Game 1 = 1 point, Game 2 = 2 points...). The first person to score 28 points wins the evening and is the "Bierothek Nürnberg Expert"! The final games are randomly chosen by the game leader and can be of a completely different nature!
- Profit
In addition to fame and honor, the winner has the opportunity to defend the title at the next event - but this is not a must!
As an "Expert" you do not have to pay a registration fee for the next date - alternatively, if you do not want to defend the title, you will be given a beer seminar voucher worth €49.00!
2) Participation fee
The participation fee for the evening is 49,00€ (regardless of whether you want to act as a spectator or as a participant).

- Unfortunately, seat reservations cannot be accepted!
- If you do not attend, you must arrange a replacement yourself - cancellation is possible up to 14 days before the event. Otherwise, the full registration fee is due and will not be refunded!
