Calling your label BRLO is a bit risky because you don't immediately know how to pronounce the tongue twister.
You don't immediately expect that BRLO is actually a Berlin beer brand. Unless you're from there, because real Berliners know that BRLO is the Slavic term for what Berlin once was: the dry part within a swamp. What you pronounce Berlo is the origin of the state capital's current name and a word that very few of us associate with. That was exactly the reason for Katharina, Christian and Michael to choose this name. BRLO is free of ideas and images - at least until you enjoy one of BRLO's excellent beers. From this point on, the sound of the word alone will evoke wonderful images of cold beer, memories of hoppy pleasure escapades and a great thirst for beer.
You can now buy the real Berlin craft beer in more than 50 different Berlin bars, pubs and restaurants and the trio's hoppy products also have fans and admirers far beyond the capital's borders. In fact, BRLO's beer is enjoyed even beyond the borders of our planet: a German airline was so impressed by the beers that they served them in cans above the clouds. Extraterrestrially good, in the truest sense of the word! Anyone who thinks that the company, which was founded in the summer of 2014, will soon go into mass production due to its resounding success so far, is mistaken. BRLO is and remains beer that is produced with heart and craftsmanship. Under the motto “Handcrafted with Berlin love”, the trio Katharina, Michael and Christian develop real, down-to-earth beer that not only impresses us with its irresistible taste. The beer contains hand-picked ingredients and a great concept: social projects in and around Berlin are supported with passion and good beer.
