If you drive through the picturesque villages of Franconia, you will see countless beautiful houses. Half-timbered structures stretch across the picturesque facades, lushly planted flower boxes with bright geraniums and other summer bloomers adorn the window sills, colorfully painted wooden shutters are a beautiful splash of color and lovingly designed gardens and courtyards surround the entire splendor. It's no different in Weigelshofen, Franconia. One of the magical houses in town belongs to the Pfister family, who share their domestic happiness with their visitors. As hostess and expert in Franconian cuisine and master brewer and beer sommelier, Elisabeth and her husband Stefan cover the entire range of local culinary culture and welcome guests to their idyllic country district with brewery. Here you can experience an authentic piece of hospitality and treat yourself to hearty delicacies and matching beer.

Stefan and Elisabeth — An unbeatable team

Stefan Pfister is the man behind the brewing kettles. As a trained master brewer and qualified beer sommelier, he is a true expert when it comes to beer and knows his craft. In his eyes, the Franconian brewing tradition is a cultural asset worth protecting that should be lived and enjoyed. The enthusiastic beer connoisseur lets his passion for barley juice flow into his work and brews beer that touches the soul with taste and character. Beer is the epitome of Franconian joie de vivre and Stefan's favorite way to end a day full of appointments, engagements, obligations and tasks. His counterpart is his wife Elisabeth, who provides suitable dishes to accompany the brews. Her passion is the down-to-earth Franconian cuisine, which she interprets in a traditional, modern and timeless way. The two welcome visitors to their brewery inn and pamper their guests with their art.

Beer with a clear conscience

When it comes to beer, the Pfister family's top priority is quality and taste. In small batches they produce masterful brews that delight with their aroma and ideas. Because they also care about their homeland, the brewery has largely converted its operations to organic. Most of their beers only use Bioland-certified raw materials from controlled organic farming. Hops and grain are grown under sustainable aspects and cultivated without genetic engineering or artificial fertilizers. The Pfister brewery's range is a tasteful mix of Franconian classics, which Stefan takes up and interprets in a modern way. Even if you don't notice it from the young, fresh concept of the brewery, it has existed for more than 170 years. The Pfister family lives in tune with the times and has made the leap into the present with flying colors.
