In the range of fine brewing specialties from the Riegele brewery, Auris 19 represents, among other things, the light beers. The golden strong beer enchants with its nutty malt character and the incomparable mildness, which is thanks to the separation of grist and husks.
Auris 19 is rightly nicknamed “Golden Fire”: a warming 9.0% alcohol content and a real firework of aromas make this light beer a specialty. A soft, velvety perlage supports the elegance of the strong body and brings out the aromas wonderfully. Auris 19 is the light counterpart to the strong, dark Ator 20 : the two are twins and highly aromatic opposites.
Auris 19 flows into the glass in the color of liquid gold and is crowned by an impressive amount of fine-pored, white foam. A fine scent of roasted nuts and sweet malt rises from the airy foam roof. The scent of oven-fresh brioches and creamy blossom honey complements the olfactory aromas and makes you want to take your first sip. This reveals a strong bock with a spicy body and subtle sweetness. Honey, brown sugar and the fruity sweetness of light stone fruit caress the palate, while a herbal tartness and a lovely yeasty spice give the beer structure. A subtle hop bitterness skilfully balances the sweetness.
