“The final answer to the question of the true Pilsner.”
This is what the Rittmayer brewery calls its Bitter 42. The bottom-fermented pilsner contains a whole truckload of aromatic hops and looks very modern and contemporary, not only thanks to its minimalist label.
As a representative of the classic Pils beer style, Bitter 42 is brewed strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law. The 42 bitter units not only give the beer its meaningful name, but also give it its unmistakable taste. The sunny, golden-yellow Pilsner is characterized by its pleasant bitterness and, in addition to the hop bitterness, has a range of other flavors. Gentle fruit notes underline the bitter note and round it off to a pleasant drinking experience. Nevertheless, the bitterness is the clear star in the ring and remains dominant until the end.
Attentive film lovers will have noticed the reference to the film “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy”. Apparently 42 is actually the answer to everything.
