The Störtebeker brewery from Stralsund gives the Pacific a different, softer and finer expression with its latest creation: Their Pacific Ale caresses the palate with tropical fruit aromas and delicate malt. Based on the character of the Pacific, the crisp bitterness, which moves like a violent wind through the play of aromas.
Störtebeker’s India Pale Ale is a brilliant golden yellow in the glass. A white crown of stable, fine-pored foam, which exudes a fruity fragrance, sits enthroned on the opal body, pervaded by soft yeast veils: tangy citrus notes combine with ripe mango and golden pineapple as well as a touch of oven-fresh biscuits to create a tempting mixture. The tangy taste delivers a crisp tartness, which is skilfully balanced by the sparkling carbon dioxide and the fresh, intensely fruity aroma. Playful notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple and citrus fruits appear on the palate and expand into a veritable tidal wave of juicy flavors. The fruity fireworks are accompanied by a spicy resin note and a bitterness that increases towards the finish.
