Most beers taste good in the beer garden. This is due to the great ambience, the wonderful shade of the expansive chestnut trees, the good plain food, the good company, the summer, the feeling of lightness and freedom, the thirst for beer and the fact that snacks and beer are simply a great combination.
A real classic of the Berlin beer garden scene is the Helle from BRLO. The brew made from hand-picked malts and the fine hop varieties Opal, Herkules, Tettnanger and Splitter Select inspires with its flowery and earthy character traits. The tasty light beer is the perfect companion for all kinds of situations and not only tastes good when you are sitting under the lush green hop roof at the BRLO brewery.
The Helle was one of the brewery’s first beers and was an instant hit with the public. Enjoying the beer begins with the attractive appearance: a small crown of creamy, white foam sits enthroned on a delicately cloudy, golden-red body. After the first good impression, things continue positively. An appetizing scent of light grain, freshly mowed meadows of summer flowers and biscuits that are still warm tempts you to try the taste. This reveals a harmonious light with an aroma profile composed of fragrant hay, golden grain, brioche, floral hops and light-footed bitterness.
Refreshing, summery and absolutely perfect with stone oven bread, cheese with music, homemade salami and gherkins.
