Die Mischung macht´s: Drei verschiedene Malze und zwei Hopfensorten aus der Region kommen zum Einsatz. Spezielle, länger „gedarrte“ Malze sorgen für die rote, dunkle Farbe. Beim Darren wird das Malz nach dem Keimprozess bei hohen Temperaturen getrocknet. Je höher die Temperatur, desto dunkler wird das Malz.
