Crustaceans are a matter of taste, there is no need to argue about that. Unlike most other fruits, seafood divides the population into two camps: you love it or you hate it. There is little room for maneuver between the two points of view, which is why we are all the more pleased that the Freiburg Brewing Collective is pushing the fronts closer. The brewers send Bruce into the field: Bruce is a battle-tested New England IPA that has had to keep an eye out in past battles. But Bruce wouldn’t be Bruce if that made him hesitate for a second. Armed with full hop strength, he goes into battle and fights for the popularity of crustaceans with unconventional means. And beers that have them on the label.
Bruce is brewed with three different types of malt. Barley, wheat and oat malts give the beer a gentle caramel note and form a smooth base for the truckload of hops. In addition, the malt provides an incredibly pleasant, full-bodied and soft mouthfeel, which also increases drinking pleasure. Bruce starts with a fruity drink that is juicy and fresh. Malt and hops combine to create a brew of extraordinary delicacy, which ends in a clean and crisp finish and stirs the desire for another bottle.
It really doesn’t matter whether you are a fan or a lover of crustaceans. You will like Bruce either way, we are convinced of that.
