May we introduce: Sam.
Sam is a fine Double India Pale Ale from Freiburg. The juicy beer enjoyment comes from the clever minds of the Freiburg brewing collective and was put into practice with nimble fingers and a lot of expertise. Jellyfish served as inspiration for this creation: the fascinating sea creatures look incredibly aesthetic with their transparent bodies, the great colors and their bioluminescence, but can be quite dangerous. They glide through the water with silent grace, appearing innocent until you come into contact with their nettle-covered tentacles.
Sam behaves in a similar way. At first glance, the DIPA is very accessible: Wonderfully juicy fruit notes ensnare the nose and palate, deliver soft malt sweetness, tangy citrus fruit and notes of tropical fruit. With a jolt, however, hops and alcohol then attack in a common all-round attack. Crisp bitterness tickles the tongue and the stately 8.5% alcohol content is noticeable after just a few sips. Sam wraps you around her finger with her light-footed fruitiness, only to dull your senses.
Do you dare to jump into the spring basin? This devilishly good beer is waiting for you with heavenly pleasures! But be careful, sweet Sam has already driven one or the other crazy.
