New Zealand is an island nation located far away from all other countries and continents in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Due to its isolated location, the country has incomparable flora and fauna and the original culture is also unique. There are a lot of endemic animal and plant species on the green island and the temperate and subtropical climate offers an ideal habitat. Hops also thrive there and there are some varieties that only grow in New Zealand. These New Zealand specialties include Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka.
All three can be found in the current beer from the Bamberg brewery Blech.Brut. To give the New Zealand IPA the maximum amount of New Zealand charm, the team chose this trio of typical hop varieties. The New Zealand-inspired brew brings a good 6.2% alcohol content into the glass and builds its silky-smooth base from barley, wheat and oat malt. The beer is part of the Arrows series and is called Ruby Arrows.
Ruby Arrows hits the tongue with a gentle melt and lets a real firework of flavors explode there. Rich notes of passion fruit, mango, pineapple, coconut, citrus and stone fruits as well as green gooseberries celebrate an exuberant party on the palate. The juicy sweetness is accompanied by a moderate bitterness that gives the whole thing structure and order.
