The term coping strategy already existed before Corona, but it was only the global pandemic that catapulted it into the consciousness of the general public. The word “coping” comes from English and means something like managing – coping strategies are methods that help you process difficult events and experiences. The pandemic has brought these kinds of situations to all of us, which is why the spread of coping mechanisms has seen a real upswing.
Everyone deals with stress, isolation and strokes of fate differently. The Atelier Vrais team did what they always do and dealt with the traumatic time by brewing the finest beer specialties. Coping is part two of her Pandemic Series and is a very personal strategy for reflecting on what you have experienced and finally putting it behind you.
The American-flavoured India Pale Ale is made with the hops Azacca, Citra, Sabro and Simcoe and flavored with barley and wheat malt. A mood-enhancing 6.7% alcohol content rounds things off impressively. Coping flows into the glass in an opaque straw yellow and carries a creamy crown of dense-pored foam on the strongly cloudy body. The scent and taste are characterized by impressive notes of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and deliver a tangy freshness that combines fruity sweetness, tartness and acidity into a tasty whole.
