Mondays are without doubt the most unpopular of the weekdays. There is a full week between us and the next weekend and after two days off, the serious business of life begins again without mercy. We have barely gotten used to sleeping in and living for the day when the fun is over and our schedule takes over. If we assume a life expectancy of 80 years, we will have to get through at least 4160 Mondays in our lifetime. So it is better to come to terms with this sooner rather than later.
Atelier Vrai gives us a beer that we look forward to when we get up on Monday morning: Another Monday is a New England IPA that conjures up a fruity bouquet in the glass and makes the end of the day on the first working day of the week even sweeter.
The brand new brew is presented in a pale lemon yellow in the glass. A stable head of foam sits on the grippy, opaque and creamy body, filling the room with an irresistible scent. Notes of freshly harvested hop cones, golden pine resin and aromatic citrus zest rise to the nose and entice you to take a sip. The taste is made up of spicy resin, woody herbs, sweet mango and a range of citrus fruits. A hint of light-footed malt and a dry, subtle bitterness complete the puzzle.
Happy Monday!
