Hazy/DC can be perfectly described with the powerful words of the legendary band AC/DC. A hoppy masterpiece that hits with full hop force. It's not just Angus Young's ears that are ringing.
With the name Hazy/DC, Brewheart's double dry-hopped IPA follows in big footsteps. The Australian musicians around Malcolm and Angus Young are giants in the rock sky and legends in the business. They inspire their fans with hard riffs and brutally good lyrics. But Hazy/DC is also well on the way to becoming a legend. The beer doesn't have guitar solos, but it does have a lot of hops. Packed with three American aroma hops, Loral, Amarillo and Ekuanot, it's pure hop TNT and is guaranteed to keep you shaking all night long.
Hazy/DC appears in a cloudy sunny yellow and forms a beautiful, white head. First, tropical fruity notes hit your nose. These include grapefruit, lemon, lime, mango and pineapple. It is accompanied by grassy notes and a slight yeastiness. When drunk, the full body of the beer and a delicate carbonation are evident. The taste of the Hazy/DC is reminiscent of an exotic milkshake made from tropical fruits, caramel malt sweetness and yeast. Towards the finish there is a nice hop bitterness, which rounds off the drinking pleasure in a dry and tart manner.
This IPA from Brewheart is a beautifully composed masterpiece of hoppy flavor components.
