Juicy, funky, smooth!
These are the three words that, according to the Schwarze Rose brewery, best describe the character of their Vertigo IPA. The New England IPA is one of two beers in the hopefully growing range of the young label Schwarze Rose from Mainz.
Beers not only have to quench your thirst, they also have to create an enjoyable experience. The three Simons behind the Black Rose are of this opinion and quickly created a concept based on it. Your beers should be deep, complex brews that are fun, challenging and simply delicious. They have already done this perfectly with their West Coast IPA Brewtiful, and now Vertigo is another great beer.
The IPA Vertigo presents itself in a strong, naturally cloudy sunny yellow and forms an impressive white head. The scent that rises from the fine-pored fluff can best be described as the essence of summer. If you close your eyes, images of blooming summer meadows, of outdoor pools full of noisy, exuberant children, of ripe cornfields with red poppies and blue cornflowers and bright sunshine immediately come to mind. The three aromatic hop varieties Citra, Callista and Enigma ensure a fruity, fresh bouquet and give the beer a wonderfully elegant hop bitterness.
Vertigo is an experience of a beer and perfectly captures summer. So if you're looking for a moment of summer in the midst of gray, dull weather, you should simply drink a cool Vertigo instead of going to the solarium.

After pouring, we are greeted in the glass with a light orange, naturally cloudy beer with a fine foam.
On the nose it is tropical with papaya, mango, pineapple, pomelo, blackberry, spicy and grassy.
The initial taste is tangy, very full-bodied and creamy with a slight sweetness. The grapefruit and a slightly unripe pineapple are more of the flavor here.
The aftertaste is characterized by a subtle bitterness with a long-lasting fruity finish.
Marco's conclusion:
A beer with lots of sweet aromatic hops. The fruitiness is second to none and will delight anyone who likes very hoppy beers.
