Considering the alcohol content, it is generally rather difficult to regard beer as a thirst quencher. At least outside of Bavaria. Fortunately, there are non-alcoholic beers with which you can quench your thirst without hesitation anywhere without attracting critical looks, even if it’s only nine o’clock in the morning.
A Bavarian classic among the non-alcoholic beers is the Hefe-Weißbier from Staffelberg-Bräu. The isotonic beer is perfect for enjoying after sport, with breakfast or on hot days and you can drink two or more straight away without risking a headache. The Franconian brewers wanted to create a non-alcoholic wheat beer that is in no way inferior to its alcoholic counterparts - and they have succeeded. Their Hefe-Weißbier is perfect, from its deep golden appearance to its enticing aroma and creamy mouthfeel.
The thirst-quencher from Staffelberg flows into the glass in a golden color clouded with yeast veils and closes with a stately head. Olfactorily, the wheat presents itself with notes of crusty bread, gently roasted malt and hints of ripe banana. A hint of yeast gives the aroma a nice spiciness. A similar picture unfolds on the tongue: Soft malt, finely spiced yeast, forest honey, sun-ripened wheat and banana create a harmonious taste.
