Between October and March there is a very special specialty at Schleicher: the delicious Kaltenbrunner Bock is served during this time.

Not everyone is a fan of the dark season. In our latitudes, an uncomfortable wave of wet and cold weather sweeps across the country in autumn and even in winter you can no longer rely on it actually snowing. The few bright hours of the day are characterized by slush, continuous rain and slate-rough cloud cover, the sun rarely blinks from the firmament. The only consolation are the powerful bock beers that are brewed and tapped everywhere in Franconia and parts of Bavaria between autumn and spring. These full-bodied strong beers warm body and soul with their bounce and spicy character.

The traditional Schleicher brewery brews a 6.8% strong bock that flows into the glass in gleaming gold. A fruity scent of quince, pear and stone fruit rises from the fine-pored head of foam and combines with hoppy herbal notes and light malt. The first sip reveals an elegant beer with a grainy start. Gradually, caramel, cinnamon, honey, bitter hops and sweet fruit notes fill the mouth. The alcohol resonates in a subtle note and provides cozy warmth in the stomach.

Who a drinkable. looking for a light-footed buck, this is the place for you!
