If you are looking for a strong India Pale Ale with a dry character and an abundance of hops, you have come to the right place!
The New England Shipyard Brewing Company from Maine has a colorful mix of classic craft beers in its range. The team has been brewing the finest beer for more than 30 years and was one of the first to venture into craft beer. They were at the forefront when the craft beer movement was in its infancy and now have a wealth of experience to draw from. This valuable knowledge enables the brewers to brew wonderfully balanced beers and to churn one delicious sample after the other out of the sleeve.
A great example of their art of brewing is XXXX: the powerful India Pale Ale brings a whopping 9.25% alcohol content into the glass and builds its boisterous variety of hops on a stable base of four different types of malt. The successful balance of soft, sweet and shaping grain is the ideal basis for the hops and also gives the beer a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel. The hop varieties Summit, Cascade and Centennial deliver matching juicy notes of red grapefruit, ripe tropical fruit and brown speckled banana. A dry, subtly balanced bitterness underscores the play of aromas and gives the beer contrast and structure.
