Cherries in beer are hard to imagine for the traditional palate of German beer lovers, but in Belgium this combination is a real classic. For centuries, the fine tartness of our favorite drink has been combined with the summery sweetness and wonderful freshness of the red fruits. Kriek is arguably the most well-known style of beer featuring cherries, but the Belgian beer landscape has a few other variants to offer.
