The Duchesse de Bourgogne is a truly royal brew that comes from the Belgian brewery Verhaeghe. The exquisite beer creation is brewed with flavor-intensive roasted malts and highly aromatic hops and is stored in oak barrels for several months after completion. The oak wood gives the beer its unique character and helps it reach its full splendor.
Verhaeghe's Duchesse flows into the glass in a noble chestnut tone and shines wonderfully in all facets of ruby red. A slightly tinted foam crowns the beer and exudes a fine scent that is vaguely reminiscent of heavy red wine. Intense notes of red fruits and a spicy hint of vanilla round off the overall olfactory impression.
