Anyone who loves powerful strong beers with a complex taste profile, fine sweetness and diverse aromas is in the right place on the Belgian beer scene . Our neighbors know how to brew full-bodied beers and have a whole range of the finest beers that impress with their intensive character and a few revolutions. The quadruple is one of the absolute classics in this category. In the series Dubbel, Triple, Quadruple, the latter is probably the strongest and richest. The traditional ingredients are quadrupled to create a particularly heavy and generous beer.
The version from St-Feuillien is absolutely not out of line with an impressive 11.0%. The lovely dark ale from Le Roeulx is a ruby shimmering chestnut topped with a good amount of lightly toned foam. An enticing scent of caramel, the finest Madeira wine, candied fruit and ripe bananas impressively round off the handsome look. A hint of hops complements the olfactory impression and seduces you to take the first sip. The Quadruple comes with a voluminous body and caresses the palate with a velvety mouthfeel and an attractive combination of powerful sweetness and hoppy bitterness. A hand-picked selection of exquisite specialty malts gives the beer luxurious hints of chocolate and coconut.
St-Feuilliens Quadrupel delivers a dense array of complex aromas and should appeal to fans of Belgian and strong dark beers.
