The New England IPA is a further step in the evolution of the IPA and the last member of the series of the same name from Two Chefs Brewing.
Regionally and stylistically, the New England IPA can be found on the east coast of the United States: It is a sub-category of the East Coast India Pale Ales and differs from its conspecifics due to its distinct cloudiness and fruity character. Through the skilful use of hops and small changes in the brewing process, the brewers get a maximum of taste from the green flowers. The bitter does not go along with this and, in contrast to the IPAs from the west coast, holds back a lot.
Two Chef Brewings’ interpretation of a New England IPA is a work of chance: While the creative brewers were cold-hoping an IPA, a wonderfully cloudy brew was created as if by magic, which was immediately enthusiastic. Today the beer is brewed with full intent and the aromatic hops Cashmere, Idaho 7 and Strata. The hoppy trinity unites into a fruity symphony that caresses the palate with juicy notes of sun-kissed mango and exotic passion fruit. A touch of freshly mown grass and a gentle, harmonious bitterness round off the beer.
