La Bassa belongs to the core range of the BrewFist brewery and is an absolute favorite. The down-to-earth camp is dedicated to a hugely popular sport that is lived and loved in Italy: cycling. Racing cycling has numerous fans who either watch the activity eagerly on television or pursue it themselves. The Italian mountains are populated by racing cyclists who wear sporty gear from head to toe and chase the mountains up and down on sleek bikes. Since cycling can be exhausting and the cheers and grief when cycling races are broadcast take their toll, the brewers (and cycling fans) of the BrewFist brewery have come up with a beer that keeps cyclists happy and refreshes cycling observers when that Racing on TV gets too heated.
La Bassa is a traditional lager made with the malts Pilsner, Vienna and Monaco. The malty trinity contrasts with a single hop variety, which brings a fine freshness, hoppy spiciness and crunchy bitterness into the play of aromas.
The lager presents itself in a shining gold in the glass and adorns itself with a stately, white foam crown. A clear scent of roasted grain, delicate yeast and flowery hops rises in the nose and continues in the taste: soft malt meets spicy hay, freshly mown grass, a hint of caramel, citrus notes and floral hops.
