A 12th birthday is usually not an occasion to enjoy a beer. If you follow the rules, this moment will come years later. When it comes to a brewery’s 12th birthday, it’s a completely different story, of course: brewers like to celebrate their milestones with a beer specialty created especially for the occasion and share their joy with their friends and fans.
To mark the 12th anniversary of Naparbier, the brewers have therefore come up with a celebratory India Pale Ale that supporters of the brewery around the world can toast to the festive anniversary. The birthday brew is brewed with the hop varieties Idaho Cryo 7, Cascade, Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra and is bursting with big, juicy fruit notes. The 6.8% alcohol content provides the exuberant mood, while the wonderful taste ensures a good mood.
Naparbier’s 12th birthday present comes in a heavily clouded guise. A hand’s breadth of white foam sits enthroned on the caramel-colored body, which tempts you to drink with the fruity siren song. The initial sip reveals a summery play of aromas that inspires with strong notes of mango, pineapple, tangerine and other citrus fruits, spicy pine resin and hoppy herbs. A harmoniously coordinated bitterness underscores the summery symphony and gives the beer structure. The finish is wonderfully fruity and lingers on the tongue for a long time.
