The name of the latest beer creation from Pinta is based on the Bamberg dialect. As a stranger to the area, you order the lager in the finest High German and get it served with a Franconian "A Laaga". In the region where you simply order an unpitched item with “AU”, you don’t waste a lot of words. Keeping a long story short.
Browar Pintas Lager is not a simple copy of the Bamberg camp, but a pimped version of the Franconian classic. The Polish brewers gave the camp from the cathedral city a hop kick! The beer was filled with the American aroma hops Citra, Simcoe and Columbus and is bursting with hop power.
The India Pale Lager called Hoplaaga flows into the glass in the color of liquid gold and is almost clear. A slightly tinted head of foam sits on the golden beer and gives off a clean hop scent. A hint of citrus and a hint of freshly baked bread complement the play of aromas and make you want to take the first sip. This reveals a hop bomb: a bouquet of hoppy notes blooms on a small malt base, tasting of freshly mown grass, spicy pine resin, juicy fruits and pink grapefruit. A clean, crunchy bitterness accompanies the drinking pleasure and increases towards the finish.
