For its annual BEER GEEK MADNESS beer festival, Stu Mostów Brewery has brewed three fantastic sour beers this year. Each one is a work of art in its own right, created in collaboration with friends from around the world. Tropical Riot is one of the festival beers and was created in collaboration with longtime friends from Latvia, the Ārpus Brewing Company.

The so-called Pastry Sour combines the fruity acidity of a classic sour beer with the creamy sweetness of a fruity dessert. The two breweries combine a select blend of malts and grains with mango, pineapple, sour cherries, and pomegranate.

Tropical Riot flows into the glass in a dense, cloudy cherry red, crowned with a handsome head of airy, pink foam. On the nose, this specialty presents itself like a freshly squeezed fruit cocktail. The first sip skillfully continues this excellent first impression: juicy notes of mango, pomegranate, pineapple, and cherry envelop the palate, blending with soft cereal, biscuit, and spicy vanilla to create an irresistible beer experience.

Anyone who likes fruit cake, fruity desserts, or sour beers with a dessert flavor will love this festival specialty! You’ll have to be quick, though, because the beers brewed for BEER GEEK MADNESS are strictly limited and will likely only be available in a single batch.
