Easter is long gone and we still have one or the other Easter egg hidden for you. The famous search for the egg is not traditionally limited to Easter in the spring: the term Easter Egg is used for hidden elements in art history as well as in computer games and programs. Artists love to immortalize themselves in sophisticated ways, and a hidden Easter egg is the perfect way to do it.
Less hidden, but all the more delicious is the Easter Egg from Blech.Brut. The Bamberg brewery has come up with a triple New England IPA that we like at any time of the year.
The hop-intensive masterpiece is brewed with the varieties Citra Lupomax and Citra Cryo, Simcoe, Tango Nectar, Idaho 7 and HBC 520. The hoppy superiority is contrasted by four types of malt, which give the beer a wonderfully velvety, almost creamy texture and a strong stature. A whopping 9.5% alcohol content is cleverly integrated into the taste profile. The neatly veiled pale golden beer smells and tastes of ripe fruits such as pineapple, apricot, grapefruit and peach. Spicy pine resin and soft malt skilfully round off the play of aromas and make Blech.Brut’s Easter Egg a substantial refreshment on tropical summer days.
