The classic in BrewDog’s wild range is clearly their Pale Ale. The beer is stylistically based on the West Coast of the United States and follows in the footsteps of legendary American Pale Ales. This style was one of the earliest examples of the craft beer movement and holds a very special status in the world of craft, creative beers.
BrewDogs Pale Ale is brewed with three types of hops and three types of malt. The malt forms a soft base and gives the beer its stable body, while the hops bring intense notes of tangy citrus fruits and spicy pine resin into the aromas. Thanks to the light, fluffy alcohol content of 4.2%, the beer is extremely drinkable and is ideal as a start to the end of the day or as a relaxed companion for mowing the lawn on Saturday.
The Pale Ale shines in bright sunshine gold in the glass and is adorned with a small crown of white foam. A delicate hop scent tickles the nose with aromas of green umbels, fresh citrus fruit and a hint of resin. The restrained first impression is followed by an impressive first impression, which caresses the palate with strong bitterness and juicy notes of lemon zest, floral hops and ripe apricots. Spicy pine resin, a soft note of honey and fine malt skilfully round off the aromas.
