Brotherhood of the Pink Elephant
The Brotherhood of the Pink Elephant was founded on April 24, 1992 and consists of 23 members who are committed to protecting and preserving the ancient traditions of beer brewing in Melle. The brotherhood wants to establish the local specialties in the gastronomic and culinary culture of Belgium and worldwide. The city's excellent beer should not only be withheld from the citizens of Melle, the brewers want to share their beer with all beer fans. The Brotherhood of the Pink Elephant is also committed to social causes and supports charity events.
