In the case of Vasja Golar and his team, curiosity did not lead to a groundbreaking invention, but it did lead to their own brewery. The founding of Bevog was based on a great need to get to know the beer world in all its nuances. Vasja was up for a challenge and wanted to transform his passion for barley juice into a real contribution to the beer market. He wanted to test his knack for good beer and find out whether the love of enjoying brews could be translated into a practical brewing project. Vasja also didn't think the current beer landscape was diverse enough and had the feeling that beer still didn't have a very good image. In many circles, the recreational drink is still seen as a bland and one-dimensional intoxicant - an image that no longer fits the wide spectrum of different brewed products. In order to permanently improve the reputation of beer, the Bevog microbrewery has chosen a very special beer style: With the help of the classic English beer style, ale, Vasja and his people are giving the beer market a new shine.
