Unicorn power
Robinsons Brewery is an established institution in British brewing history. With a brewing history spanning almost 200 years, Robinsons ranks among England's most venerable, traditional breweries. Their beers speak of craftsmanship and great expertise and it is not for nothing that they are known and loved far beyond the borders of Great Britain. The unicorn in Robinsons' label goes back to the very first pub, which founder William Robinson bought in 1838. The “Unicorn Inn” forms the cornerstone of the Robinson empire, which today operates more than 250 pubs and is still in family hands. With a lot of passion for good beer and the joy of hosting, the Robinsons have built their company and brew excellent beer that has already won numerous international awards.
Heavy metal
In addition to the numerous delicious ales, the highlight of the Robinsons Brewery range is clearly the beers that were created in collaboration with the band Iron Maiden. The band and the brewery have a long-standing collaboration that has resulted in a number of excellent beers. For more than 40 years, the heavy metal legends have been inspiring the black masses with their uncompromising music. Iron Maiden is one of the most popular bands in the genre and has long had cult status. Our own beer seems to be the next logical step, which was taken together with Robinsons Brewery. The concept and taste of the beer came from the band's musicians; it was hand-crafted by the master brewers at Robinsons. The main person responsible for the beer was lead singer Bruce Dickinson, who is a passionate beer drinker himself. The name Trooper goes back to the Iron Maidens song of the same name, which is about the death ride of the Light Brigade in the Battle of Balakawa. There are countless legends surrounding this eventful battle, writers have written poems about it and it is also discussed in the visual arts and films. Iron Maiden processed the theme into gripping lyrics that describe the fate of a soldier who loses his life in the death ride of the Light Brigade. In the style of the heavy metal band, things are brutal.
