TurboBier

Most non-Austrians will be familiar with turbo beer primarily as a drinking technique. A hole is poked into the beer can with a sharp object, the beer shoots out of the opening and has to be drunk at turbo speed. Can piercing is particularly popular at parties and has helped one or two youngsters gain fame and honor in their clique. But that's not what it's supposed to be about here.

It's about the band TURBOBIER from Austria. The guys around lead singer Marco Pogo make provocative music with loud beats and loud lyrics. They classify themselves as punk and have already performed at well-known festivals and events around the world. Recently her path took her on tour to Japan and China.

The big three: politics, religion and beer

In addition to music, the boys do a lot more. Her favorite topic in all activities is beer. Not only is the band's name based on this, but also the founding of their own party. The band is the inventor of beerocracy and strives for the beerocratization of Austria. Beer consumption as a political issue, the free choice of beer as a fundamental right. The party is running in the Austrian elections with a legally valid statute and has actually already achieved success. The next event is the Vienna municipal council elections, in which the beer party will of course be running.

Anyone who is already politically occupied can turn to the band in a completely different way: the beerist religious community is a religious cult that worships beer. Faith leader Marco Pogo and his highest clergy have drawn up ten commandments that describe the compliant consumption of beer and the behavior of well-behaved beer enthusiasts. The exact number of followers of the beery religion is not known, but it is rumored that every year more people are falling away from the Christian faith and converting to the true faith.

The beer becomes a cult

In addition to religion, politics and music, the band also deals with the really important things in life: beer. Of course, both the political activity and the religious cult revolve around the sweet barley juice, but the first beer of our own was the crowning glory of everything. With TurboBier, the band realized their dream of having their own beer and not only made their fans, party members and community members happy. The band beer, which is sold in both cans and bottles, was created in collaboration with a well-known brewery. TurboBier is not some newfangled frippery, but a down-to-earth, drinkable lager with a powerful 5.7% alcohol. A complete success, how could it be otherwise!

We're excited to see what these wild musicians come up with next!
