INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

We are an officially registered online beer retailer in several European countries.

That's why there are no legal problems when ordering beer through our online shop. This is not only an advantage for us, but also for our customers. Compared to other online retailers that are not officially registered, our products do not get stuck in customs and there are no other legal problems for our customers. If you order beer from an unregistered online store, there is a high risk that you will not receive your package for legal reasons.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Our beers are shipped in plain brown, shatterproof shipping boxes.

We use ecological packaging tape with our Bierothek® logo to seal it.

SHIPPING PLACES

Our cardboard boxes are divided according to shipping locations. Every bottle is assigned a shipping location - as is every can with a content larger than 0.33L. All cans with a content of 0.33L or less will be marked with half a shipping space as these can be stacked on top of other smaller products in our packages.

(Ex.: You order 48 cans of beer, each containing 0.33L, we will send you a package of 24 by stacking 2 cans on top of each other and you only have to pay shipping costs once!)

(Ex.: You order 72 bottles of beer with 0.5L content, you will receive 3x24 packages from us, which means that shipping costs will be incurred three times.

We charge international shipping costs of: per package with 24 shipping locations:

Netherlands: €8.90

Austria: €12.90

Sweden: €14.90

Finland: €17.90

Italy: €17.90

France: €19.90

SHIPPING COUNTRIES

We currently ship internationally to the following countries:

TRANSPORT SERVICE PROVIDER

Our international packages are picked in our refrigerated central warehouse near Bamberg, picked up there by DHL International and sent to you.

DELIVERY TIME

The delivery time for our packages, which are sent with DHL International, is usually 3-7 working days.

SHIPMENT TRACKING

We will transmit your contact details including email address to DHL International so that you will receive an email from the transport service provider with your tracking number. This way you can track your package quickly and easily.

EXCLUDED ITEMS/GROUPS

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship all items from our Bierothek® range internationally.

The following items/groups are excluded from international shipping:

  • spirits
  • Events
  • Marketplace items
  • Subscriptions

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Please note the country-specific age requirements for purchasing beer online.

If your age is not entered correctly in the shopping cart, we reserve the right to cancel the order after the purchase has been completed.

Sweden: Min. 20 years old

Austria: Min. 18 years old

OTHER ADDITIONAL OPTIONS THAT CAN BE BOOKED

We are currently unable to offer you our optionally bookable additional options for international deliveries.

Unfortunately, the following options are only available for deliveries within Germany:

  • Neutral shipping
  • Gift service
  • Refrigerated shipping
  • Handwritten greeting card
  • No neighborhood delivery
  • Desired location

PRICE CHANGES (item price/sales tax/excise tax)

If you initially selected the standard delivery country Germany in our Bierothek® online shop, you will be shown different prices compared to the international delivery countries.

The reason for this are additional tax costs, which we add to the item prices - but disclose them transparently to you directly in the shopping cart.
