GUESS THE GLASS - 11BIERE BLINDVERKOSTUNG

A game that even true beer connoisseurs can fail at - and from which they can learn a lot.

"Guess the Glass" is a fascinating (blind) tasting game for beer lovers. It's not one for shouting and howling. Instead, it relies on your sense of smell, taste, and your expertise.

Taste and smell a beer and identify its alcohol content, beer style, whether it's barrel-aged, or brewed with other ingredients. Only if you can correctly identify what's in the glass will you earn the points needed for a glorious victory and the well-deserved respect of all craft beer nerds and sommeliers.

We play in two rounds. The first round is the qualifier for the final and includes eight beers. The top four advance to the final, where they taste three more beers in black glasses. In total, there are 11 beers to taste.

Please note: This event assumes a certain level of basic knowledge and will not explain every single beer style! Therefore, this event is more suitable for advanced connoisseurs of national and international styles.

Again in 2026:
A total of 12 rounds of GuessTheGlass will be offered, and there will be a GuessTheGlass Grandmaster in 2026. Points will be awarded each evening as follows:
1st place 15 points
2nd place, 12 points
3rd place, 10 points
4th place, 7 points
5th place, 4 points
6th place, 3 points
7th place, 2 points
8th place, 1 point

Do I have to attend every evening to have a chance? NO! Of course not. Only the best six results count in the end. Logically, if you attend more evenings, you have a better chance of dropping your lower scores. The maximum score is therefore 90 points! No one can score more than that. If several players have the same score at the end of 2026, then the total points scored will decide the winner – so playing more than six games would definitely be an advantage...

Registration is binding and can only be changed up to 14 days before the event. After that, 100% of the booking fee is due, or you must find a replacement yourself.
