Liquid joy of life – that’s what the Priller-Riegeles call their beer. We can only agree with wonderful beers like their Goldener Feuer . The brewery on Augsburg's Frölichstrasse has made its location its motto and has been celebrating life with excellent beers for more than 600 years.
Not many breweries have a complete history spanning more than 600 years. The first records about the brewery can actually be found in 1386. The first Riegele to wield the scepter at the Riegele brewery is Sebastian Riegele, who acquired the brewery in 1884. Since then, the brewing tradition has been passed down from generation to generation and with it the values of the (Priller-)Riegele family. It is not without reason that we are proud of 28 generations of passionate brewing. In addition to their beer, the Riegeles are also known for their social commitment. Under the motto “From here. For here!” the family supports Augsburg clubs, youth and charitable causes. In addition, the beer is produced exclusively in the region to support the local job market. Despite all our efforts, protecting our environment is also important to the Riegeles. The company structure is based on seven core values that the Riegeles pass on from generation to generation. These include, among other things, the love of tradition and homeland, the respectful treatment of our nature and of course the impeccable quality.
