When we think of Hanscraft & Co., we immediately think of the stylish labels of the young German brewery. But there is also something remarkable behind the labels: the beers from Hanscraft & Co. are all modern classics with the potential to be a favorite beer.
With their Split Decision series, the brewers have developed two exceptionally good beers. Beer drinkers can choose between a beer with hops from the Hallertau and a beer with hops from the Yakima Valley. For Split Decision Yakima Style, the American aroma hops Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra were used to create an incomparably tangy IPA.
Hanscraft’s Split Decision Yakima Style flows into the glass in a sunny yellow amber tone and forms a beautiful, white head of foam. A wonderful scent rises from the foam head and, with fruity notes of papaya, ripe mango and juicy peach, makes you want to take your first sip. This reveals an airy, light body with an incredibly velvety mouthfeel. The 6.3% alcohol content is hidden in a juicy abundance of flavor. When drunk, pineapple, mango, papaya and mandarin dance a happy samba on the tongue. An extremely subtle hop bitterness underlines the fruit explosion, and a touch of malt gives the beer its body.
Split Decision Yakima Style is an excellent IPA from Hanscraft & Co. that we recommend to anyone who likes to drink fruity, light beers!
