The harvest season is a very special time year after year. The rich treasures of nature are brought in, the hard work of the year pays off in abundance and once again we become aware of the abundance in which we live. The Private Landbrauerei Schönram has dedicated a beer to this recurring festival, which is released annually at harvest time in autumn and bears the illustrious name of Erntebier Zwickl.
Thanks to its liquid appearance, the Thanksgiving Festival goes wonderfully with autumn: the Zwickl flows into the glass in a wonderfully copper-red chestnut brown. This tempting color comes from the special malts that give the beer not only its attractive appearance but also a delicious flavor profile. The naturally cloudy beer smells wonderfully of lightly roasted malt and presents a whole range of harmonious taste nuances in the initial taste. The raw materials from regional cultivation conjure up fine aromas of sun-kissed grain, lush summer flower meadow and fragrant autumn leaves in the beer. The Zwickl harvest beer is full-bodied on the palate and has delicate floral as well as fruity and softly sweet notes.
The strong beer is the perfect accompaniment to hearty autumn dishes or a hearty snack. Smoked and sweet, heavy desserts also harmonize with the balanced range of flavors of the Zwickl harvest beer from Schönramer.
