Each beer style has its own character: while the Pilsner is tart, dry and crisply bitter, the wheat beer is characterized by its fruity sweetness and its grippy, creamy texture. The IPA is usually a real fruit explosion and delivers strong hop notes, while the porter shines with dark aromas and beguiling roasted aromas. The Helles is a specialty that is particularly popular in Franconia and is known for its balance. The classic is a wonderful thirst quencher after a long day and tastes particularly good with snacks, roasts and hearty home cooking. Having a Helles in the range is an absolute must for all traditional Franconian breweries.
The St. GeorgenBräu from Buttenheim is only too happy to meet the wishes of its customers and presents us with a wonderfully drinkable pale beer. The basis of the beer enjoyment is the crystal-clear spring water, which is drawn from the brewery’s own well. A select blend of regional malts meets the Hallertauer Tradition and Spalter Select hops in the kettle and forms a harmonious taste profile. The aroma is made up of full-bodied grain notes, hints of oven-fresh bread, floral hops, caramel, freshly mown grass and a hint of lemon. A delicate bitterness connects the taste nuances and rounds off the beer enjoyment harmoniously.
