High up on the summit the world is different. The air is purer, it flows fresh and filling into the lungs and gives the landscape a clean, washed clarity like after a downpour. The lush meadow is bursting with lush green grass and fragrant wild herbs. Bees and other insects buzz from flower to flower, while the grazing cows exude a gentle calm. A crystal-clear stream of ice-cold water meanders through the pastures and the sun has a different radiance up here. The clocks tick slower and nothing seems to taste better than a glass of buttermilk accompanied by a cheese sandwich with butter and chives. Add a beer and your summit happiness is perfect.
A group of creative brewers captured the wonderful mountain feeling in a festive wheat beer and gave it the apt name Summit Glück . Now the team of Orca Brau, Hoppebräu , Guggenbräu and Bierdoktor have come together again to build on the success of their first collaboration.
Summit meeting is part 2 of the series and another wheat. This time, however, the quartet opted for a dark wheat beer. The brew contains Franconian barley from the Nuremberg area and the old Italian grain variety Gentil Rosso. The shimmering copper brew combines a creamy mouthfeel with a strong character and a punchy 6.1% alcohol content.
