The small Gänstaller brewery from Hallerndorf is not only a Franconian cult, but has made a name for itself far beyond the borders of Franconia and the country. Brewer Andreas Gänstaller is a first-class hop magician and has caused a sensation on the international beer market with his creative interpretations of well-tried classics. In contrast to many craft brewers, he does not rely on the use of unusual ingredients or crazy techniques - Gänstaller and his daughter Daniela are followers of the traditional art of brewing.
Your courage to reflect on the roots of craftsmanship in our fast-moving times has been rewarded with great success in the past. In 2020 a fresh wind blew at Gänstallers and after a few hurdles and setbacks there is now a whole new range of beers from Gänstaller.
One of the newcomers to the range is the emerald white, which comes in a brand new, modern design and comes in tins. Hefeweizen is hidden behind the white Ganz on a golden background. Or rather a young, fresh interpretation of yeast wheat: Andreas and Daniela have put their own stamp on the classic Bavarian beer style and turned the traditional wheat beer into an India hop white. The ingredients and the brewing method are the same, but the result is spectacular. Emerald white inspires with an oriental-inspired aroma profile and definitely provides variety in the wheat glass.
