Sudden Death Brewing has launched a new series: the brewery, which is known for its funky craft beer, likes to publish its beer in connected series. The latest composition of delicious craft beers is the Brewtotype Series.
This Is Not A Test is a range of finest beers brewed with a ravishing amount of hops. The first specimen in the group is called This Is Not A Test Pink and is bred with the hop varieties Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, Columbus and Idaho 7. The green gold conjures up an exuberant fruitiness in the beer and also provides the clear, crisp bitterness that we love about Sudden Death Brewing beers.
The double dry-hopped Pale Ale has a nice 5.5% alcohol content and is dressed in a naturally cloudy robe in warm amber gold. A hoppy bouquet that smells of freshly mown grass, citrus fruit and ripe stone fruit rises from the densely pored crown of white foam. The initial sip follows the olfactory first impression and scores with large hop notes. A green aroma of grass and herbs mixes with candied orange, spicy pine resin, lemony notes and the tart sweetness of apricots on the palate. Soft malt and a pointed bitterness harmoniously round off the beer enjoyment.
