A hoppy highlight from Franconia, the hub of the (beer) world.
Franconia is the Mecca for all beer lovers. Upper Franconia proudly boasts of being the region with the highest density of breweries in the world. Anyone who has tried one of the countless Franconian beers knows that the Franconians are true hop experts. Light, dark, cellar beer - in Franconia people like to drink everything that is hoppy. It is therefore hardly surprising that the two guys from BroBier are also hop artists. The two originally come from Reckendorf, and their beers are mostly brewed in Breitengüßbach in Franconia.
From Franconia for Franconia (and everyone who would like to be one), that can only be a good thing!
BroBier's most down-to-earth creation is their Urfränkisches. A brew that comes from a long tradition of fabulous beers and is part of Franconian customs. Andreas and Johannes worked for a long time until their unfiltered light beer was the way they had it in their heads.
Our beer sommelier Marco Liebig tried the light beer from Brobier for you:
After pouring, we are greeted in the glass with a naturally cloudy and light blonde beer with fine-pored foam.
On the nose it smells grassy with citrus zest, honey and currants.
The initial taste is full-bodied, refreshing with a light citrus note and gentle currants.
A tasty and fruity honey sweetness is noticeable in the finish, which is not too heavy.
Our conclusion:
Full-bodied with a subtle fruity hop note, a wonderfully refreshing beer at these temperatures. A greeting to Franconia from us on this way.
