Snow white is the color of winter. It’s best outside when fresh snow has fallen overnight and wraps the world in a powdery glow. A few last delicate flakes dance from the sky, but the sun prevails and makes its way through the cotton candy clouds. Schneeweiß is also the name of a winter specialty made by Erdinger. The 5.6% strong festival beer is brewed between October and February and enchants with silky soft malt, fine sweetness and a nice spiciness. The Schneeweiße is a powerful winter wheat that combines the classic aroma of ripe banana, yeast and cloves with the fruity sweetness of red berries and the noble roasted aroma of toasted nuts. Gentle hopping gives the exquisite beer a subtle bitterness that goes wonderfully with the creamy sweetness. A malty scent with notes of honey and berries as well as the copper-gold look and the wonderfully velvety mouthfeel make the Schneeweiße a pleasure for all the senses.
