The tavern is the place where you can come together comfortably and philosophize about God and the world over a cold beer. In a rustic atmosphere you sit at worn wooden tables, play cards, discuss the important and unimportant things in life, meet new and old friends and spend whole evenings enjoying delicious beer. Taverns are an integral part of Bavarian culture and the linchpin of culinary life.
Two young Bavarian breweries have joined forces to pay homage to the inn. The True Brew Brewing Company has brought the guys from Yankee & Kraut on board. Together they have developed a beer that is not only traditional, but also contains an unreasonable amount of hops.
The result of the hop-based experimentation is Wirtshaus Memories, an aroma-intensive wheat goat with a powerful 7.5% alcohol content. The strong beer is cold hopped with the Simcoe Cryo, Mosaic BBC, Amarillo Cryo and Citra Cryo hops and is bursting with taste. The unusual wheat flows into the glass in a naturally cloudy gold-orange and crowns itself with a large amount of creamy, white foam. The classic wheat scent of banana, clove and yeast is accompanied by fine notes of tropical fruits and freshly mown grass. The initial taste follows the olfactory first impression and caresses the palate with strong notes of banana bread, tropical fruit, grassy hops and tangy citrus fruit.
